It would be useful if the app could identify the id of the phone which is being carried by a positive covid person. Police could then be informed and investigate why they are 'out and about' in the pub/supermarket etc. That’s the Orwellian scope the government wanted included but was rightly stopped

I was half expecting the app to be able to turn bluetooth on automatically, if given permission. That way, you wouldn't need to consciously turn it on.
