Re: Tark - transfer
I wasn't talking about everyone vilifying him, but a lot are and without any evidence to support their claims. Even you are assuming that the toe injury is just a front for something else. Show me your evidence? I'm not saying it couldn't be true, I'm saying I don't know, but I'll give the club the...

Re: Tark - transfer
He may well be leaving, I just don't know. My point is the fact that no one else on this board knows either. They are guessing and vilifying one of our best players without any evidence at all that they are right. I’m not vilifying him, I just wish it wasn’t smoke and mirrors. I understand why, but...

I saw that on social media. I did chuckle when it stated “no underlying health conditions” and you watch the video and he’s clearly obese - which is a major risk factor. Still, the message is right so fair play for raising it.

Re: Tark - transfer
What people don’t seem to realise about the release clause is that it was inserted during the times of huge fees like £85M for Maguire and its there to FAVOUR Tarkowski if a NW top six club wants him. It is not applicable to any other club, so even if they offered £100M we wouldn’t have to sell (cha...

Re: Will You Be Downloading the App?
It would be useful if the app could identify the id of the phone which is being carried by a positive covid person. Police could then be informed and investigate why they are 'out and about' in the pub/supermarket etc. That’s the Orwellian scope the government wanted included but was rightly stopped

I’ll be glad when he’s finally gone. Not that I want him to go, he’s a great player and one of my favourites - especially since learning his shithousery skills from Barnes. Re: Will You Be Downloading the App?
I was half expecting the app to be able to turn bluetooth on automatically, if given permission. That way, you wouldn't need to consciously turn it on. Leaving it on all the time can be a security issue, especially on older devices. That’s why it’s restricted to “newer” phones (as in 80% of iOS in ...

Re: Will You Be Downloading the App?
One thing regarding this - bluetooth drains the battery, and I won't be alone in hardly ever turning it on. So lots of people may have it on their phone, but it won't be able to do it's job. Just checked my battery usage for the Exposure Notifications app and it’s less than 2% average over the past...

It’s not just about the numbers getting Covid though is it. It’s about the knock on effect to other services provided by the NHS, such as cancer treatment. I know, first hand, that this is affecting the NHS in ways that many people just don’t consider when they whinge and moan about wearing a mask; ...

Me too. The problem arises if he wants to move. Then we take the money and reinvest. It was similar to when we lost Keane to Everton, but then we had Tarkowski to come in. Gibson was meant to be that option, but now we’ll need to accelerate the development of Dunne and Thomas, and if they’re not qu...

Thing is, when the rumours started about Tarkowski (start of this thread) I, probably like many on here, thought we’d be screwed in defence without him. Since seeing Dunne and Thomas play, I have no deep rooted worries anymore. Whoever plays alongside Mee will improve. Kevin Long will be fine, as wi...

Re: Leyton Orient - and the action taken against them
As much as it pains me to say it, I agree that Orient have what they deserve. I’m not saying that taking distancing measures and other actions (temp checks etc) throughout the club will stop infections with Covid, but I am saying they must have been very lax in terms of being Covid safe. How else ca...
