He's free to talk to who he likes after this window closes and right now can do a deal with a non-English club on a pre-contract. But there are no rules that prevent his agent from talking to other clubs.

Definitely dodgy as you say. They had a long long list of players they took in on loan when they were in the championship - many were internationals playing champions league football for big teams. They ended up paying a lot in loan fees and then as you say on the permanent transfers when they sign...

I would suspect Tony that with regard to average wages in the PL were are NOT paying PL wages. I would further suspect that many players in the Championship are getting more. This is not necesarilly a criticism of the club (I hate what modern players get paid) but more the reality of the PL. At the...

I just don't get these ideas that we are rolling in it. If the wage bill is 85 million it doesn't leave much for the rest including transfers if we have a turnover of say 110million. Agree with that - and I would have been happy to see Jay start with Richardson. I know he may not be quite ready yet but at least unlike Vydra he is playing and scoring for the u23s and for me he is far more the future than Vydra who will know himself now that it’s unlikely this club is his future....
