Their new (albeit short-term) manager has made an instant improvement, they have a chance of staying up now.
Regarding us being safe, i think we need to re-evaluate our situation after the next 4 away games. We've certainly given ourselves a decent chance of survival, but it's no time for complacency.

And anyway, what are the benefits of resting players? I suppose Bournemouth can be happy that in the two games since they threw the cup tie, they've got a point - at home to Watford. They were tubbed at Hull. Still, it's a point - who knows how many or how few they would have had if they had played...

What we need in midfield is players who can take the game into the oppositions' half while retaining possession, that's not really what you could expect from a centre-back playing out of position.

Just standing still once a season would put doubt in all opposition players mind, and you will have won half the battle by making them pick a side. I don't really see any away games being easy for us, even against the bottom 3.
