It's the finer detail of a matchday you tend to forget.....the collective intake of breath as we emerged from the tunnel before kick-off was something special that day......Darkish blue shirts with Claret trimmings, White shorts and Claret socks......We really looked the business and went on to play...

I think the push on the keeper whilst being pure Ashley Barnes actually distracts a little from the quality of the goal. The cross from Zaroury was perfection but so was Barnes positioning and timing which made the finish look easy. Which Ashley Barnes goal will you never forget ? Nailed it, FCBurn...

But here's the thing.....no matter what the record books might tell you....26th Jan.'63 is probably the the only time an attendance in excess of 56,000 has ever been seen on Turf Moor......in fact it was considerably more....as anyone on the CF end stand that day will attest to.

Like I said, officially maybe.....but the reality was very different.......Never, ever, known anything like it in the CF end....I'm stood next to Liverpool fans and seriously fighting for breath.
