You raise an interesting point about men in the womens game. There are men for sure, but I can't recall, for example, men commentating on the recent womens world cup. There was a women's tournament a few years back where Dion Dublin was the only male on the studio panel His inclusion was derided by...

I doubt there will be any permanent signings in Jan Given our current league position decent experienced players are highly unlikely to want to commit to a permanent deal especially if relegation clauses are inserted And we certainly don't need any more inexperienced players at the club Our current ...

Re: Is VK learning anything?
Why Obafemi wasn’t on the bench last night is a harder one for me to understand though. Never started a match in the Championship, never mind PL - his only starts were in cup matches with weakened line ups I was also surprised he was not on the bench Maybe another injury or maybe VK just does not f...

Could maybe line up like this in the championship: Trafford Roberts, O’Shea, Beyer, New Cullen, Brownhill Benson, Ramsey, Zaroury Obafemi That should be able to get promoted next year Five lightweight midgets across midfield - it might have worked two years ago but not sure now given injuries and f...

And unlike a lot of people on here, I'm far from convinced with Beyer. You know what's going to happen when he starts on those runs out from the back - gets caught on the ball and found way out of position Needs a lot more discipline in staying within the back four formation And for those who think...

I'm clinging on to the hope that we seemed to have had a ridiculously unbalanced start to the season in terms of facing the bigger clubs in the first 12 games. And maybe another reason for the ridiculously unbalanced start is the ridiculously unbalanced squad that we put together this summer for ci...

That's the impression you get with the current side. They don't seem willing to put their bodies on the line to fight for every point. Or is it maybe because they are somewhat bewildered with the standards of the Premier League and, indeed, are afraid of what they see With the exceptions of Redmond...

Just to show how daft this notion is; We literally signed relegation rival Sheff Utd's best player a week or two before the season started (they had loans as well in the champ), a team that we finished 10 points clear of, and then the other team, Luton, has a player on their books still playing tha...
