They’re not going down. Rubbish how they’ve got away with it. 8 points is nothing!
For doing it 2 years on the row.
Really hope we can sue them now. Still haven’t heard about that, have we?

The term 'Project' was definitely used initially by the club as alluded to by CP alongside the sort of '3 year plan' terminology... Then, at least how I recall it the term 'project' kinda got 'co-opted' if you will by some fans as a bit of an excuse/coping mechanism after some of the abject perform...

that is one of those nice sounding positive PR produced phrases, but if reflection, learning and proper assessment of the situation and the risks involved are not applied then you are just marching towards a potential catastrophe, which is, in part, what the auditors were saying. It is ok ALK/VSL a...

Build a squad around Muric, Esteve, Beyer, Foster, Cullen, Benson, Berge (critical we keep him), and Koleosho and we storm the Championship. Like others have said. We are much better now than the team that walked the league last season. Absolutely agree with that. Much better. Crucial to keep Berge...

I think using the words 'absolute nonsense' and then citing a 22 year old player with 10 sub appearances with PSV is pushing the boundaries a bit. Not really. I think it’s fairly well established that he’s a well regarded talent having represented Netherlands at every youth level from U15-U21, 46 t...

One of the features of the club's notion of buying to sell (under ALK/VSL) is that there have been very few actual sales of note the most profitable being Collins and Cornet and they didn't produce the reported cost of Beyer before amortisation. When you look at the money the club has lost on Wegho...

Back to the topic.
For me Everton (barring a huge points deduction) are out of it. It’s between Luton and Forest. I think it’s best for us if Luton come down, but whoever it is, they’ll lose a lot of their core team so they’ll look far weaker than they do now regardless.

We might be knackered next year... Players won't join (given lack of pitch time given to those signed before) We'll lose anyone sellable... Indeed 'the Project' which everyone at the club has stopped talking about (for now - it will be interesting to see the language used next season) has morphed into one of cash flow pursuit, as I have previously detailed. One of the key elements of those Kompany/Mooney recruitment meetings with the b...

There’s no way on earth any premier league team would commit itself to guaranteed playing time contractually. What is a bit odd is the timing that Trafford was dropped - he hadn’t made any obvious errors the week before from what I recall - and Trafford not making the bench. One theory here is that ...

To be honest, I think ‘the project’ is something referenced more by fans than the club. Never hear anyone senior at the club mention it and if they have, certainly not repeatedly.

It's not overplaying it out from the back OR hoofing it every time. There's a middle ground. I've no idea how you can't see our defensive frailties. No way is it just down to the final third. I didn’t say I can’t see our defensive frailties, although I don’t think they’re necessarily something that...

You could see exactly what Muric wad trying to do from the angle behind the goal. He waited for the incisive pass to come available, which it did as odobert moved off his man and opened things up. Unnecessary at that time in the game, should have just launched it down the pitch. I'd have more sympa...

We saw the same last season, and from Muric. Cockups like yesterday happen, you just pray they aren't critical, and in a must win game.
He'll probably do it again at some point, but I'd still prefer Muric in goal. He offers far more positives than negatives.
Agree on all your points.

We will really struggle if we don’t keep Muric even in the championship. I hope what has become apparent to everyone watching in recent weeks is just how critical Muric is to how we play. Frustrating .......i think the answer is X/reviews per manager/per half. The Refereeing standards are awful.
I really like this idea.
No VAR, managers or captains holding a number of reviews per game, maybe one each half, that can be used to corner anything.

I'd be amazed if nobody came in for Berge. At 15 million he'd be a bargain for any mid-lower bottom half side. Me too. He was fantastic last night again. Equally, I don’t think we’d be in the relegation zone had the countless bad refereeing decisions not occurred.
