I can’t tell whether some of these replies are serious or not. But of the main body of replies the justification seems to be that if the customer base will pay it then it’s priced correctly. I have a Gore cycling jacket that packs up small. It’s great for breathabilty. I think it’s gore-tex paclite. No hood though. I’ve found when running little gets rid of moisture quick enough but you do dry out underneath faster.
