Re: ARTICLE: Ly signs in from Sheffield United

When signing a young player like this from a club at a similar level to us, I tend to think of a few questions why he would leave a club. Was he not good enough for Sheffield United, and if that's the case why would he be deemed good enough for us? Or did he simply turn down the offer of a new cont...

They’ve been found guilty of breaking the rules

That has cost us a fair chunk of monies from various revenue streams

They should be sued
At this moment in time an out-of-court settlement would be in Everton's best interests.

My thoughts/questions since this appears to be the suing thread: - The charges relate to the year we were relegated (despite the DM article saying they don’t). We’re therefore the lead club in terms of case, I’d imagine. - I’m not sure if it’s been proved that Everton also broke financial regulatio...

22/10/1960, Chelsea 2 Burnley 6. Happier day in London. All that after a certain Jimmy Greaves had put Chelsea ahead early doors. Jimmy Mac was unplayable that day and scored twice, with JImmy Robson scoring a hat-trick and Brian Miller the other. Only Tottenham could live with us during that period.
