Re: Masters of the Sky
Finished this off last week. Couldn’t really get too engaged with it to be honest. No connection to the characters and I thought the aerial fight scenes were very samey. It definitely improves in the second half with the behind enemy lines and POW camp storylines, but I found it a bit of a drag unfo...

Re: Next seasons kit manufacturer - Castore
Not sure they have even been marketed as a premium sportswear brand to be honest. I know they tried to hit the golf market by hooking up with the likes of Matt Fitzpatrick - at the time i did think that if you are directing your brand in this way then it has to be decent quality and also quite expe...

Re: Next seasons kit manufacturer - Castore
I'm not sure on the quality, but Castore was marketed as a premium sportswear brand - they have a range at Reiss. Has this poor reputation just come from complaints from Villa players about the shirts retaining sweat?

Re: What is the point of this International break ?
I think teams just lost their internationals for a fixture. Bearing in mind years ago there would only have been a very small number of internationals from outside the home nations playing in England. That’s what I would have assumed. Obviously that isn’t practical at all in the Premier League thes...

The game got by quite well without international breaks for over a hundred years. Why have them at all, and especially why for friendlies. But then football got by without being on the telly every sodding day so what do I know. What did they do before international breaks? I can’t remember as I gue...

They are valuable friendlies for the teams taking part in them. It makes little difference that you have no interest in them.

The point is to allow international teams to play friendlies which I'm sure are valuable in the build up to a major international tournament.

I thought the law was also related to wearing the correct attire at all times when on the pitch but may be wrong. The problem is, where do you draw the line? MAN of the match is an award for the best man on the pitch in a game with 22+ men playing, no need to change it at all Well it already has been changed.
