Re: Sunderland v Burnley- Player Ratings
Heaton 8 MoM Kept us in it Lowton 7 Steady away but caught out again with a deep cross covering for Keane and leaving his man with a free header Keane 6 won enough headers but poor distribution and needs to watch his positioning from deep crosses Mee 8 A rock as usual but as Keane distribution left ...

Re: Keane V Mee
Keane is a cracking player but Ben Mee`s reading of the game, reaction to situations, tackling ability and total commitment gives him a slight edge at the moment, many times he reacts to the second ball quicker than other players, against Hull for example people villified him for the foul on Huddles...

Re: Barnes, most wasteful?
Barnes has a dark side no doubt but it serves us well when he is subtle in it`s use, he upsets defenders and disrupts their rhythm, something unfortunately Sam doesn`t do, he`s to nice, and sometimes it`s up to other player ie Gray to take more advantage of this, the fact we don`t is down to others....

Re: Copenhagen and Malmo
My son lives in Odense, if you get that far call in at the Kick Off sports bar, you`ll see the BFC shirt, scarves and flags hanging up. If your in a car you can travel up from Malmoa to Helsingborg and then the ferry across to Helsingor and back down to Copenhagen, not a bad day trip. Don`t forget y...

Re: JBG, Defour.... Hendrick?
Talk about drama queens, standing on opposition players toes and the like at corners etc has always gone on even in amatuer football, and as for feigning the bang on the head is that any different to pretending you have been tripped in the area to win a penalty which goes on by many players on a wee...

Re: Burnley v Chelsea - Player Ratings
Maybe for you but I still stick with my evaluation, different people look for different aspects in a player and just because some people decide to score him lower than others doesn`t necessarily make them wrong in their opinion some people obviously feel it more important to be a runner and mark acc...

Re: Burnley v Chelsea - Player Ratings
Because pass completion doesn`t cover times dispossessed and stats do read how you want them to

Re: Burnley v Chelsea - Player Ratings
Still haven`t answered the question as the circumstances, Boyd plays lots of short passes to Lowton under little pressure whereas JB makes things happen but in the long run stats are whatever you want them to be, as a winger he is poor creatively.

Re: Burnley v Chelsea - Player Ratings
I`m talking about the way he is easily dispossessed and as regards your stat how many passes did he make compared to the others and over what sort of distance, 5 yd pass backs to Lowton is not really a reflection of ability

Re: What difference will Brady make to our away form?
I agree with most of the things mentioned but he won`t make a difference if he`s sat on the bench watching Boyd and Arfield. We know our Sean is reluctant to change things.

Re: New song for Ward and Brady
Don`t normally get involved with this stuff but if you want an idea how about for Brady you use the old Willie Morgan song, I`m not doing all the words but you know the one " We`ve got Willie Willie WillieMorgan on the wing , on the wing" obviously using Robbie Brady instead of Morgan before some wi...

Re: Burnley v Leicester - Player Ratings
Heaton 7 Good handling on a difficult night Lowton 7 Getting better defensively but needs to improve his deliveries into the box Keane 7 Usual steady performance Mee 8 As above bur seemed to win everything in the air, dodgy distribution still lets him down a bit Ward 8 Solid defensively and good goi...

Re: 'Sounds of the Sixties' - Brian Matthew
BM is/was an institution in my eyes, hearing his voice and the music always seems to transport me back to a good time certainly in my life and will certainly will be missed. Decision to retire him will have been made by some BBC upstart who knows what`s best for us older members of society and is wi...
