I have just booked online to park at the Salford Quays Premier Inn for £5, 6pm til 11.30 pm (don't expect to be that long but same price all evening. Easy in and out to the M602 and M62/M60 as it is right at the start of Media City. Perfect for those of us travelling almost as far as the Man U fans...

Please make sure you have multiple copies made as it will mysteriously disappear no doubt if you send your only copy in. Officers have been privately prosecuted by members of the public after being assaulted and your evidence could be key in that person receiving justice. Keep personal local copies...

Before the game alongside the cricket club I saw a mounted officer shouting abuse at Boro fans in the cricket club, not sure what instigated it, but I was surprised by the tone of language used - it appeared the mounted officer was trying to goad the fan in some way, and it wasn’t banter for sure

In sunny (today) southern (compared to Lancs) Bedfordshire it was -9 last night, and as low as -11 a couple of nights ago. I’d actually go as far to say the snow/ice on the ground is safer at lower temperatures as it’s not “wet” and sloppy.

Cold and dry ice is better than warming wet ice

If they call it off, please could they attempt to do so before 9ish, as that’s probably a good cut off for the away fans to turn back and just not leave. I normally leave at about 8ish to get up

As someone who’s done that drive regularly a few years back I know that you have to add at least another hour onto the ETA to account for traffic and other issues. Rarely did I arrive when I expected to.

I listen to all sorts of things on BBC Sounds app every night whilst drifting off to sleep. I often wonder where some of my knowledge comes from until I realise it’s one of the things I’ve listened to. That said I also like a good documentary too.

Need to build for next year, permanent staff with pace is a priority. Preferably sort some in Jan and not wait till summer for another rebuild. Man U game fills me with dread to some extent. We ordered a new sofa about a year ago and from the initial “it’ll be delivered straight from our warehouse to you within 6 weeks” then took nearly 9 months and legal action to get anything sorted.
