Re: Have we peaked?
We may not get any higher, however, I'm sure that we would settle for finishing where we are at present. Our form has improved markedly over the last 7 fixtures after a steady start to the season. First 7 games we won 2 drew 1 and lost 4 scoring 5 and conceding 9 and gaining 7 points ---- 5 of those...

Re: 1962 revisited
I must admit. silky, that John Angus thinks along the same lines as you, as far as he is concerned, however, there were still a couple of contentious decisions which went against us which, nowadays, would have been major talking points amongst the 'pundits' I couldn't get off school for the cup matc...

I was there royboy and in the same section as you, which isn't really a surprise. So disappointed at the end because I don't think we quite had the 'rub of the green' --- nothing changes! lol

Re: Cracking Super Sunday today . . .
I think that Otamendi gets the oscar today --even though he was amongst quite a cast of actors from City.
What a great result when a team gets just 29% possession, has 6 shots and scores 4 goals.
Pep looked really happy at the end ---oh dear, how sad!

Firthy, just let it all go over your head becasue it isn't worth worrying about and there is beggar all that you can do about it anyway except raise your blood pressure. There are plenty of others who will do the worrying for you and also think that they can change things. You only need to read this...

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Great to see the club have decided to adopt the same pricing structure that Sunderland did for yesterday. Well done BFC :) Isn't this something that the clubs have to agree on anyway? I seem to remember that a couple of years ago the club wanted to put tickets on sale at a cheaper rate, however, I ...

Re: RATE THE REF - Stuart Attwell v Sunderland (F.A Cup)
He had a very good game and his ruling on the non-pen looked to have been made in consultation with his AR who had a side on view, as did I. Defoe realised he was going nowhere and the ball would probably run out of play so he almost stopped in his tracks and there was slight contact from Darikwa. T...

Re: Luciano Narsingh - Bid made
To clarify --he did not want the move because Burnley's bid had come too late in the window and this is what Marcel Brands later informed a fans forum.

Re: Luciano Narsingh - Bid made
It says that we made a bid in the summer but he said no to the move.
The latter half of the translation relating to the fact that several PL clubs are interested, the fact that a couple of players will be on the move, thus giving PSV a chance to delve into the market is correct.

Gray has started 10 games this season and has come on as substitute in 2. Prior to his suspension he started 5 matches and played a total of 428 minutes. Since then he has started 5 matches and come on as substitute in 2 and spent a further 475 minutes on the pitch. He scored his first PL goal in hi...

Re: Andre Gray
Personally have lots of sympathy for Gray and really rate him. Thought he looked a little muscle-bound at the start of this season but maybe (slighty tongue-in-cheek) he was preparing for hoof ball tactics. I would be interested to know what percentage of his goals scored for Burnley have been in t...

Re: Andre Gray
Andre has as many PL goals now as Jamie Vardy had after 27 appearances in his first season in the PL, in fact, Vardy only started scoring regularly in his last 10 games of that season when he scored 5 goals in a run of 7 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat which saw Leicester stay up. Andre has virtually had...

Re: Dyche has to go
I spotted a comment about our lack of shots on target. Utd managed just 1 on target last night according to the stats. Now that's shocking. Haha Sidney --they also only had 7 shots in total and 35% possession and managed 1 corner and our fans moan about us having 6 shots with 1on target and 35% pos...

You openly admitted to not caring about the results so I'm rightly questioning your commitment. I sniff an ex Man Utd turned Burnley "fan" when we reached the PL. Oh you've sussed me out, I truly am a plastic fan who has only been going on the Turf since we got to the PL and only this last promotio...

So you aren't much of a fan then if you don't give a **** either way, probably explains the mentality of the happy clappers then. Your comments just confirm what I have already posted. Total lack of comprehension as to the diversity of those who are football fans. Strange how we are all not the sam...

Re: Dyches gameplan?
Why support a football team if you don't emotionally give a toss about the results Because I can. Results don't affect me --we win --we win -- we draw--we draw -- we lose --we lose. Whatever happens, I support and have done for a long time --you wouldn't understand because you just want to find fau...

I wasn't just talking about Burnley fans.
Some of us are always cheerful, however, that makes us Happy Clappers as far as many are concerned. Why worry about a football result? It won't change your life, just keep smiling and be happy.

Re: Dyches gameplan?
Modern day fans just expect to add water and it will instantly happen, unfortunately, it doesn't happen that way. New players come in, they all have to get used to each other, changes have to be made, it all takes time to gel and this is the reality. Perhaps older people are used to being patient ab...

Re: God, I'm Bored
Wouldn't be so bad if the national team were worth it, as it is, they are useless. Our club football needlessly grinds to a pointless halt to accomodate these clowns. Ineviatably we'll crash out of the tournament and the boring media frenzy will begin once again. Bloody groundhog day or what. SIXTY...
