3 - 0 For us, type of game we had against Norwich, Drinkwater to come on and make a difference.
Now need another drink after that
2020, onwards and upwards for the Clarets (I hope) my NY day resolution along with my annual (failed) diet and dress size reduction pledge

2019 has been ok for the Clarets and I expect 2020 to be the same, I don't think we will be in a real relegation battle and survive easily.
But to echo as others have said, A very Happy New Year to all who sail in this ship, enjoy and talk to you all next year

Re: Villa Interest In Drinkwater
I was excited by him coming, very disappointing so far but mainly the players fault and not being SD fit. Given effort has been put in to get him fit plus the money spent I would hope that he stays and gets in the team, it will be difficult enough given the loyalty SD shows to the squad. However he ...

Re: BFC forecast to be in 8th Place!
read the preamble, this is the predicted "turn of the year table" compiled by OPTA experts. I also like to read them, interesting but very little substance, it's an educated guess based on a few statistics, which I am sure Sheffield U by themselves changed quite dramatically. Would anyone have expec...

I see the usual clique is out together hunting and supporting each other in the pack, any excuse but there own failure, you'd be great candidates for JC and team to interview regarding this total failure, you'd give him the ammunition he would want to blindly go where many before him have gone. Raci...

Re: Conservatives win Burnley after 109 years ... why ?
Failure of the leadership to understand that voters can and do change there minds, many factors lead to this outcome, not just one and the weight percentage of each would change in large groups: JC himself, then add the people around him that would have to be trusted with running the country. Polici...

Spurs away was horrible, should have been x rated, the difference between the two games was immense and while obviously different opposition BFC as a team all round looked like an A and a Z team

The players have pride, they are 10th in the Premier League and looking to maintain their status as Premier League players once again - not to be underestimated. for me there is more yes for the players, pride being one, getting into the first team, player bonuses, being picked for your National team. I don't think it's to do with rationale or picking a position through the leagues, it's more to do with excitement and something to play for during the season rather than something to avoid.
