I'm from Salford and never felt like I was from Lancashire even though my Dad used to tell me Manchester was part of Lancashire, or used to be. I suppose its about as war of the roses as Man Utd v Leeds.
But it doesn't matter, its Leeds so I want Salford to win.

My feeling isn't that the technology doesn't work, I think it's fine. I just hadn't even considered that a goal like that would be disallowed. I feel like when the rule was invented it was probably just to stop people "goal hanging"! But like I said they have to draw the line somewhere (literally). ...

I can't see that jesus gained anything from that positioning that an onside player wouldn't have had but I suppose they have to draw the line somewhere. I'm not sure how to improve it. I know its not a song, neither can it be heard on the radio but does anyone remember when the loud voice used to warn you to keep "gangways and emergency exits clear". As a kid it was almost frightening and I don't even know why.

I still really don't understand the finance thing.
If there was a Bill Gates rich Burnley fan out there how would he put the money in without us failing FFP? Would it have to be a £1bn Microsoft sponsorship to hide it whilst we build the infrastructure to match? Buy the ground for £500m?

If I found out that the reason we hadn't signed any players so far was because we stood up to the same behaviour (with far more exaggerated money). Then I would be happy to keep the same team.
