Re: Brady

Maybe he's just not used to playing so defensively and so narrow - not at all like a normal wide player who is encouraged to get down the line and put crosses into the box :)

When you've got wide men who are told to play defensive and narrow you will never see any crosses into the box - and that applies at home as well as away

Re: Swans versus Mighty Clarets

Passing accuracy of just over 60% (Swansea over 80%) shows our weakness - we just can't hang on to the ball long enough to take some control in the game
Their 5 man midfield is in charge but SD won't change unless we are losing

Re: Why does all transfer gossip value Keane at £20m+

For me, the one hope is that, if we stay up, Keane will sign another contract I can fully understand him not wanting to commit to us earlier this season when we were one of the favourites to go down One way or another a decision has to be made fairly quickly after the season finishes and if that mea...

If the Board think we can get outside investment whilst retaining overall control of the club then why not https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2843529/burnley-chief-mike-garlick-has-acquired-a-taste-for-keeping-the-prem-league-battlers-in-rude-health/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Boyd and Arfield have been primarily used as part of a defensive formation this season and have coped reasonably well in most games Given the level of opposition and possession that we had on Saturday, they both had the chance to show the attacking, flair side of their games They both failed miserab...

Re: Still the same gap in front of Hull

Hull still have most of the bottom sides to play at home and given their progress on the pitch under the new manager, I have had a punt on them to stay up at 11/4
For me, Sunderland then 2 from Palace,Leicester, Swansea and Boro

Re: Boyd is wonderful.

No one would disagree he works his arse off and does great defensive work every time he turns out. The problem is his complete lack of pace to go past a man, his poor running off the ball in attacking positions where he does not make himself available enough, can't remember when he last put a decen...

Re: Ashley Westwood £5m bid accepted

Having read the Birmingham Mail article, it looks as though he's a player who doesn't seek the limelight, follows instructions, works hard, keeps the game simple and does the basics very well indeed. Also has a little bit of technical quality as well. Or to put it another way, a Sean Dyche-type mid...

Re: Robertson - £10m bid accepted - SPECULATION

Dyche quote on SSN along the lines that we are not just buying for now, but for the future of the club Great respect to Ward and Boyd but a future left sided pairing of Robertson and Brady is something we could only dream about at the start of this season Add Gosling loan, and the end to a great month

Hull have prob gone public with the £10m figure to encourage a further bidding war between any interested parties

We have to be realistic and accept that any other PL club (apart from Sunderland) will be able to offer higher wages than ourselves

The same also applies to Brady

We are looking a bit thin for players now

SA and JBG both out with hamstrings (don't know when due back and given its JBG's second, similar injury we will have to make sure he is right before bringing him back again) Marney looking likely to be out, given he was stretchered off, and Barton likely to face a reasonable ban at the end of the m...

If you look on the Brady thread, it's there. Norwich are bringing in a left back and once that's done they will sell Brady. The manager has even said it. Where has their manager actually been reported as saying this? He was only playing left back today because Olsson has gone and replacement not ye...

Do Norwich need to sell Brady or Pritchard?

Would appear not - on paper Looking at their last accounts (for Prem League season) figures looked good. Made a profit of £9.4m, showed a debt of just £2.6m to banks and £2m to directors which have all now been paid off True, they have to run this season on lower income streams but they have said th...
