Re: Clear and obvious errors and refs going to the screen
Just downloaded “ Mach Officials Mic’d Up” with Michael Owen and Howard Webb. (30 mins) It’s the one where Onana the Utd keeper took out the the Wolves lad and the ref Hooper thought it was just a coming together and didn’t (wrongly) give a penalty. It Also discusses the Zaouray sending off against...

Re: ALK Capital or Farnell/Elkashashy takeover
Just a case of where your moral compass is pointed. The £50m in the bank is a bit of a red herring. Had MG and co bought players or new stands etc with that money, then the asset value of the club would have increased and the net position would likely be the same. It would have given ALK more asset...

The trophy was round the corner in an exec members house near the Lane Ends.
It stayed there on the basis Darwen were in trouble early on in their game so balance of probabilities meant it wa a beat kept there.

I would imagine very few people from Liverpool would take delight in Liverpool losing at anything, so yes it is a great example. Some House members seem to be coping and some seem to be struggling. Do they give out a trophy at the awards night for crowds ? Coming across as very anti Burnley is a really weird look. ON CT's squad list I counted 25 players >21 on Jan 1st 2023 and 8 <21 giving us a squad of 33 which includes 4 keepers, 2<21yr of age. We do have a few long term injuries, Obafemi, Churlinov, Ekdal (as seems likely) and for today at least possible Ramsey, Vitinho and Zaroury still two matches to go...

Im surprised we didn’t get a left back and maybe Maatsen has had a late change of heart after a promising summer at Chelsea, which has pulled the rug from us. VK said yesterday that we are looking at two kinds of signings. Those to make a first team impact straight away and those underneath that as part of the next generation. I'd suggest Massengo is in the latter category. Sadly doesn't look like we were successful in the attempt to get Kalvin Phillips....

I took the Evan Ferguson and Jay Rod post to be more of a “the best players aren’t necessarily the most experienced” as opposed to a suggestion we could genuinely swap them.
