Re: T20 World Cup

Well, England doing things the Burnley way in making everybody sweat when it should have been easy after the start we had. After 11 overs they were 85 for 3 and struggled to get another 56 runs from 9 overs. After 11 overs we were 93 for 3 and struggled to get another 51 runs from 52 balls but.........

Livingston gone now trying to hit the cover off the ball. Why? We now need 36 from 41 balls ---are they really thinking about this? Bottom line is that we just need to win, run rate doesn't matter. Use your brains!

Hales out now and at 82 for 2 with 65 balls to go we just need to score at one run per ball which should not be too difficult, however, after the Ireland game, who knows?

Sri Lanka looked on target for a very big score after the Power Play.
When de Silva was out in the 9th over they were 72 for 2, however, we have dragged them back and they have only scored 64 in the next 10 overs.
Will England handle their spinners when we bat?

Afghanistan middle order were very disappointing, particularly the skipper, Mohammad Nabi, who was out second ball at a point when they needed just to steady the ship after losing 3 wickets in the 14th over. They could have won this game but blew it big time.

Perhaps there were problems between playing staff and the coaching staff that created a rift?
