I'm as disappointed as anyone the way he has generally played and behaved whilst at Burnley. However, and it is a big however, IF he stays, and IF he knuckles down and actually performs then I'd back him like any other player. For what it's worth I think he'll be gone by the end of the transfer wind...

Playing at step 4 in non league football pyramid is about the best it got before ankle injuries took hold! Was fairly decent at downhill mountain biking back in the day before I realised how daft it was (few too many times spent in A&E!).

Born and mostly raised in W Sussex. My dad (also from Sussex) started supporting the Clarets as a youngster in the 50s as EVERYONE was a Spurs fan down here. Took me to a game in 1995 at Portsmouth and the rest is history. Plenty of Clarets down here.

Non league grounds are full of breeze block walls and metal railings far too close to the pitch. It is crap, but mostly because I find it unreliable. Missed a large chunk of the 2nd half yesterday, fortunately saw Benson's goal. Lack of replays and picture quality is disappointing too.

I like the look of him. Seems quick, strong and adaptable to a few different positions (playing on last man, bit deeper or out wide). I think at £3m it's a no brainer. Certainly a good player to have on the bench IMO.

I reckon he'll be sacked in the summer at the latest whether they stay up or not. Feel a bit for him, no doubt a difficult job when (I assume?) most of the ridiculous number of signings have been outside his control. Would be funny if they dropped.
