Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Too many small, light-weight, naive players throughout the team. Trafford has made some good saves but his distribution is poor to say the least, backfour doing ok but no protection, Berge playing well but Cullen and Brownhill being overrun, Ramsey totally naive to lose the ball for their goal, Kolo...

Those three unmarked players in front of the keeper can’t be offside from a corner. The keeper needs protection.

Re: Today’s thread
We need more physicality in midfield, Cullen was like a little lad trotting about, not once did he try and lose his marker (the guy with the long hair). Why did we take Koleosho off the left wing when JBG went off, he had their right back on toast (he had a yellow card after Koleosho’s first run). F...

From tv, and having watched the full game again today. Trafford 7 didn’t have a lot to do, but I’m still not convinced he is better than Muric. Roberts 7 nice to see an international right back playing at right back, he had a good game and his long throw ins were quite effective. AlDakil 6 poor firs...

Muric
Roberts AlDakhil Beyer Taylor
Brownhill Cullen
Berge
JBG Foster Zaroury
I’ve gone for ball retainers and experience to start, with the likes of Amdouni, Tresor, Benson, Ramsey etc to come on to build on our lead.

Re: New word on me?
The etymology of mondegreen is quite interesting. Writer Sylvia Wright used to listen to a Scottish ballad told to her by her mother called "The Bonny Earl O'Morey". There was a line " They hae slayed the Earl O'Morey and laid him on the geen", which she heard as "They hae slayed the Earl O'Morey an...

Just seen the highlights on YouTube, my oh my, watching that number 9 with a shock of blond hair, in a claret shirt scoring a hat trick like that, took me all the way back to the sixties and a certain Ray Pointer running the channels at pace and scoring cracking goals. Let’s hope he progresses to be...

Trafford 5 I actually feel a bit sorry for him...thrown into the PL with a bunch of strangers posing as a defence in front of him. I have said from day one Muric should have started the season. Al-Dakhil 4 a low mark because he was “poor”, however not his fault, he simply is not a right back. OShea ...

We are committing defensive suicide. Totally unbalanced at the back with no cover from midfield. Get Roberts back to right back, get Aldakil at centre back, OShea is poor. Roberts O'Shea Al-Dakhil Taylor
Brownhill Cullen Berge
JBG Foster Amdouni
I've gone for balance and a blend of youth and experience against what will be an organised, dangerous Spurs team.

With regards to Tella, I think it’s clear we want him. I just don’t think he fits our transfer model if we have to pay out 20+ million. I rate the lad but I have serious questions as to whether we’ll ever make a return on that investment, which seems to be a major deciding factor. I think we have t...
