Did you watch O'Shea for their fifth, he watched their player run 10 yards past him, pick up a ball from a throw in, so not offside, then wander at ease into our box to score.

Now that we have a left sided centre back in Esteve, I would love to see Beyer play alongside him in his accustomed position at right centre back. Why Beyer over O'Shea? The answer is simple for me....he's a better player.

Use "got". Gotten is a word that seems to have slipped into general use only recently, American influences via the likes of Netflix, Disney etc. Not necessary to change a really useful word like 'got' in my humble opinion. You misunderstood. “Gotten” was the original past participle of the verb “ge...

I find using the word "gotten" to be rather embarrassing. Do you find the use of the word “forgotten “ and “ill-begotten “ embarrassing as well? They all come from the Old Norse root verb “geta “ whose past participle is “geten, which leads to the English word “gotten”. The Oxford English Dictionar...

It’s not my style to denigrate other posters and no doubt you do possess good knowledge of football but if you truly think that it’s the keepers job to catch corners that far ahead of the front post you are honestly appearing not to understand the game.
