I can grasp it perfectly. My point is that people who can’t book until the last minute will always be likely to miss out on events with limited availability. In this respect your scenario is no different than a game selling out with 2 weeks to go. You could have bought your tickets and taken a risk...

To avoid unnecessary repetition on this thread, it would be ideal if anyone whose replies start, "It's only..." just set their threshold of infections / deaths that are in the "It's only" category. Then when it's all over with less than this threshold they can come back with a hearty "told you so" ...

I sneazed today in Tenerife, nobody batted an eyelid, reading this forum had I done that in Burnley, I'd have sick pay, self isolating, and unable to shake hands with anyone , though I doubt if be added to the 95.....remind me again what percentage of the population that is?

I'd sooner people don't take the necessary risks and stay home, even if they haven't yet been tested. Better be safe than sorry. Why? I don't think you understand the situation. If they (BFC) have been able to send tickets back, this might have been the only time they could do that. Well I don't think we would have and more importantly the club didn't think that we would either. If we'd only sold 1500 after they had gone on General Sale then I really don't see how we'd have shifted another 1500! Two days on general sale, over a week before the game is a weird time to take them...

Most of us on here know which games will be popular, and guess within a hundred or so how many tickets we will sell, why those responsible at the club for requesting the allocation seem unable to at times, baffles me.
