Re: 2019/20: Manchester City v Burnley - Ticket Information
I can grasp it perfectly. My point is that people who can’t book until the last minute will always be likely to miss out on events with limited availability. In this respect your scenario is no different than a game selling out with 2 weeks to go. You could have bought your tickets and taken a risk...

Why do the British, led by the press panic so much. I saw a headline the other day....confirmed virus cases double overnight......it had gone from 2 to 4 !!!! Here in Tenerife they only report the facts, what has happened, and the procedures put in place, hence no panic, the supermarkets are fully s...

Re: 2019/20: Manchester City v Burnley - Ticket Information
I was joking. Chill out. Those who are unfortunate to not be able to book in advance are always going to be more likely to miss out. This situation is the same as if we had sold out the entire allocation. Communication could have been better in this instance but the club shouldn't be buying your ti...

Another 40 confirmed cases today. The highest number in any one day. All in different parts of the country and has now reached Cornwall. The strategy of tracing all contacts of those testing positive has now passed and all that we can do is try to slow the spread to give time to find a vaccine. As ...

I think the club should consult with Grumps before taking each away ticket allocation to enquire as to upcoming weddings, babysitter availability and his next pay day. I do get your point but not sure just what it's got to do with sending tickets back to City? To avoid unnecessary repetition on this thread, it would be ideal if anyone whose replies start, "It's only..." just set their threshold of infections / deaths that are in the "It's only" category. Then when it's all over with less than this threshold they can come back with a hearty "told you so" ...

I'd sooner people don't take the necessary risks and stay home, even if they haven't yet been tested. Better be safe than sorry. Why? The tickets on sale today are only available from the ticket office, so yes ...

No one expects anyone to sort it out in two days - tickets were on general sale for four days and you don't have to start checking with all you mention on the day tickets go on sale. Boris has said people will be able to claim statutory sick pay from day one, should they be required to self-isolate at home. I don't think you understand the situation. If they (BFC) have been able to send tickets back, this might have been the only time they could do that.
