Re: League Cup 3rd round draw thread
No excuses in not being in the 4th round whoever we put out. We should be beating a League 2 side even with a few youngsters in.

Nobody else a little more concerned about the defensive side. 3 goals from crosses so far with no closing down. Liverpool's 2nd was a horror show, so open & all over the place. Centre halves to be questioned too in both games.

Pretty awful viewing defensively and the keeper can't seem to read long distance shots

I reckon Nuno has learned it's better to be out of Europe that in it, it just messes with the domestic side when you're not a top 4 side with a normal squad at hand. We did well to get knocked out, we'd have been down that year had we gone to the group stages

After just listening to that French tune above, it just seems like most of the 60's guitar stuff just copied each other in the end. That riff could be so many riffs of the time. Anyway, found this little gem recently from garageland America 60's copied again from god knows how many songs. Nazz-Open ...

We have seen many gimmicks over the years and maybe in other places they work but in Burnley people don't care fundamentally. If we have a winning team, good honest football, like we've seen over the past few years, with players giving it their all, and a team that is evolving and trying to get bett...

Dwight McNeil is asked to be our flying winger taking players on, he's asked to whip lots of accurate crosses in, he's asked to be our creative number 10 threading balls through, he's asked to be our set piece taker, he's asked to track back and become an auxiliary left back when we're defending......

Why not send Dyche an email and tell him how to rectify those apparent faults in his management. He has been here long enough to think up some other plans but clearly doesn't want to and out trust in it. Dyche has a mistrust of youth, always has had. You have to be truly exceptional to get a chance. Exactly. Because Dyche is backward and comes from the old skool method of treating youngsters. The process may have changed but the mentality is the same. Just because Barnes has earned his spurs as a P...

Don't think our subs made us lose the game though. We lost because we defended awfully and didn't get a 2nd goal when on top in the 1st half.
