Re: Barnes
As much as I think a new striker is the answer, Barnes is making runs that aren't being picked up for balls through. Sometimes those runs pull defenders, sometimes with the right pass he would be through on goal. It doesn't seem to be clicking at the moment, and it may never, but IMO it would be unf...

Re: Thoughts on the Transfer Window
We are certainly signing exciting players, although relatively unproven. My concern is the lack of experience at the back, although I'd have been happy with Collins, so hopefully one or 2 of the new ones have that natural, composed ability. Biggest signing we need for me now would be a good keeper w...

Re: ARTICLE: Collins departs for Wolves after one year at Burnley
People praised Trippier for signing a deal that meant he was sold for about £3m, a player that went on the World Cup semis and a Euro final, plus won La Liga. Collins plays about 20 games, came as a young defender wanting to play in the Premier League and we have made about £8m from him. Pace can ge...

Just seeing so many 'right position' type comments, but he sounds like the Cornet/McNeil position - and neither of them have left yet.

I've said for a while - moreso when Dyche was with us - that if we kept the players with a defensive mindset ingrained by Dyche, but the attacking influence of a new manager, we may have the best of both worlds.
