NFL: Conference Championships

Post by Claretmatt4 » Sun Jan 22, 2017 9:19 pm

Packers down by 17 in Atlanta, can they turn it around?

Anyone staying up for the Pats and Steelers tonight?

Here in Atlanta. Saw plenty of Packer's fans as I was walking the dog after watching us being robbed. Looking good so far for the Dirty Birds :)

Kudos to any NFL fans living in England.
I wouldn't stay up until 11:40pm at night to watch a game.
I think the time zones are one reason sports are going to have a hard time being accepted in other countries.
In the US, the "late" Premier LEague game is on @ 12:30pm Eastern Time, with kickoffs as early as 7:30am on a Saturday morning. While it does not have to compete with other sports, only a dedicated fan is going to get up at 7:30am and watch their team.

It's not easy but it's worth it.

It's a shame really because I'd like to properly get into College football and Ice Hockey but honestly I don't have the time or even the ability to keep up with it all, it's hard enough keeping up with NFL news.

I won't be staying up for the late game, it'd mean I have 3 hours sleep before work tomorrow. I'll catch it on gamepass in the morning though.

Terrible game. Last year the NFCCG was a blowout too... Ah well!

Congrats to the Falcons.

As a neutral I was hoping for a high scoring but close game, this stopped being a contest before the end of the first quarter!

I expected this to be great game of offensive footy. 42-39 sort of game. Glad how it ended up but I know what you mean.

Had a summer in Atlanta in 1984 and always followed the Falcons ever since. Slim pickings by and large since then but Julio Jones and Matt Ryan were immense. Still sulking over that Arsenal penalty though!
