Which side are they starting at?

Any chance of a few pics if you're down there watching it?

Nicely worded plaque, can't wait to see the pictures.

Are they going up in chronological order?

Pics will go on as the boards go up. Work started by away fans turnstiles. Only Bob Lord stand in this phase.

Brilliant that this is finally happening. It will look fantastic walking round the ground and seeing the best of the past & present.

(Shame about the lime pouring out of the mortar lines though, you'd have though that may have been cleaned up :) )

Far better than the last effort near the away turnstiles. I just feel they'd look far better dotted around the concourses. Thats only because I can see them going 'missing'.

I like them - but why can't they Jet Wash the bricks - it makes them look tatty. Or paint them?

ClaretTony - Ask the club to hire a jet wash and renew my season ticket for free and i'll clean them myself

Quite fitting the old players in black n white are on the Bob Lord working round to modern players in colour on the younger supporters sections.

I think the pictures look great - well done to all involved. Hope the club sort the walls out, unless...?

Just a quick question...does this mean that they will not be doing up that end of the BL stand façade at the end of the season, then?

There are no plans to do that side of the Bob Lord. Certainly not heard anything.

I crudely cleaned up the bricks with mspaint! - Surely it wouldn't cost hardly anything to clean them up.

I'd hope they will be protected or some knob with a paint can will be at them.

The cost and effort that has gone into this ideal project to display our Turf Moor Heroes is sadly being let down by the background. I would hope that something will be done to rectify this, and give their pictures the prominence they deserve.

I had a quick look whilst sat at the temporary lights on Harry Potts Way. The pictures are brilliant, but they are let down badly by the walls. I can't think of a good reason why the walls weren't not sorted first.

Wait while they spray clean the walls and mark the images.

Just the few I've seen already give you a real feeling of pride and sentiment.

My Grandad always talked about "Halley Boyle and Watson" and the great Bert Freeman and Jerry Dawson.

Parents, Grand Parents,Great Grand Parents , local school teachers, local junior football coaches and Burnley Managers with new signings in the future can go for a wander around the Turf for a history lesson in one fantastic walk around the stadium.

What a brilliant walkway....Well done to all concerned.

.......That said I have to say I agree we should look at cleaning the wall up...even if it just means painting claret & blue around the pictures.

"I crudely cleaned up the bricks with mspaint! - Surely it wouldn't cost hardly anything to clean them up." I was just thinking the same when I spotted your post. A good power wash first with some liquid brick stain remover and it would look so much better.

I know just how much work has gone on behind the scenes to get this project to where it is today. A huge thank you to all those at the supporters group who have negotiated a deal for such an excellent end product.

The West Yorkshire clarets were more than happy to contribute towards the purchase of one player and we were all delighted that we were assigned with Jimmy Adamson, especially with his Leeds United connections.

A big thanks to Tony for overseeing the project and for providing a live feed of the players as they go up on the Bob Lord Stand wall. It will certainly add much needed character and originality to our fantastic football ground!

Anybody else got an image of CT just stood there waiting for the "bloke with the ladder" to finish putting one up before taking the pic? :D

They do look good, especially being in B&W with the claret & blue highlighted
