Definitely not staying here as 4th choice then! Good luck to him anyway.

I do hope we have another striker in mind as I dread to think what the reaction on here will be like if Gray, Barnes or Vokes gets injured.

Be good to get some insider knowledge so that we can work out how to claw back those ten years that we are behind!

I'm really interested to see what this means for us.

Do we have someone lined up, are we going with 3 strikers, or are we saying Agyei is capable of playing a bit part role like Bamford?

We could do with another striker in. As pointed out above, an injury to Gray in particular would leave us extremely short up front

Risky not to sign someone I'd say.

Whilst I have confidence Agyei can do what Bamford did, or more pertinently what he didn't do. The problem would arise should one of the main 3 get injured, is he ready to be coming off the bench for potentially 30 mins. Probably not yet.

Pretty sure that Long wasn't being considered for this season so I don't think Bamford leaving has much influence. Agree though that we could do with another attacking option from the bench as we're a little limited in that respect.

Not a Bolton fan but I hope he scores a shed load of goals for them.

This is almost as satisfying as the troubles down the road.

7 years later and Bolton are taking our promising young players from us. Truly hilarious.

I agree with Walt accept that I am not convinced that CL is that promising. Which makes it even more satisfying imo. Ten ten years ahead my arse.

Correct he was signed to be a full memebr of last seasons squad after scoring goals for Brentford at that level but like most of the strikers Dyche signs they very quickly drop below the division he signed them to play in

Not as short as when Adrian Heath played though
