Mr dyche as gone nowhere and is going nowhere for a long long time.i base my facts on his lack of ego. He's doing a great job here and I'm sure he will buck the trend by staying long term.he has job security.5 years and counting.hes seen the other side of the coin at Watford.imo

You still need to learn how to differentiate between "has" and "as".tim_noone wrote:Mr dyche as gone nowhere and is going nowhere for a long long time.i base my facts on his lack of ego. Re: Dyche ------->Palace
I still think how he was treated so disgracefully at Watford will always have a bearing on what he does next. At Burnley he is a hero, legend and has a job for life in some capacity when he steps down from the managers role. How many clubs give a manager a blueprint for a training complex to see them through the next decades.? He might leave one day but surely not for an unfashionable London team who always have finger on the trigger ?Managers need time to build he gets that here plus less pressure. Leave for Arsenal Chelsea Spurs England if south is your destination but dont do a Coyle.

Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Dyche now out to 7-1 with Monk still odds on......
Re: Dyche ------->Palace
Monk 8-11 favourite with Paddy Power. Dyche, Stam & Jokanovic now joint second favourites at 11-1. Wagner 3rd fav at 12-1.
Looks like Wagner's odds have shortened across the board following Huddersfield's promotion. The Huddersfield fans may be in for an anxious summer once the euphoria of promotion subsides.

What happened you see, was someone posted a link to a thread that said that Dyche wanted to Palace job but the article did not include any reference to Dyche actually saying this.
I thought, personally that it was quite a good attempt at sarcasm but maybe I am mistaken. Back to the drawing board for me.

If your a sports editor and there's no football playing but you have to fill column inches you make things up. Sources close etc etc mean nothing.
It's like on here no football so we fill it with favourites threads.

The Rumour That Won't Go Away
I really don't like the way the Dyche to Palace rumour is lingering around like a ten flush turd,if anything it appears to be gaining traction!

Re: The Rumour That Won't Go Away
SD would be seriously ill-advised to choose Crystal Palace over BFC, CP are owned by American venture capitalists who are rumoured to be trying to sell to Chinese investors. Why did fat Sam leave? Disagreements over transfer budgets ?

Re: The Rumour That Won't Go Away
I think the job might interest him. I don't think he's going to tell anyone he's desperate for it - that would undermine his bargaining position and might even have a restrictive effect on his style of management. It's just not the Dyche way.

Re: The Rumour That Won't Go Away
it would be catastrophic for Burnley if our future progress depends on the whim of one manager, even if this rumour is weak, he may be enticed by some other club. Burnley will surely have a process in place to ensure we are'nt left stranded and adrift if this comes to pass. All that planning, and training facilities, the resources have been well managed too. It will be known if he is ever losing his spirit by the board. They will have to be certain he is staying put.

Sean Dyche slashed in to favouritism across the board by almost all bookmakers (5/4 Paddy Power) with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish stating that he wanted to appoint a manager with "long-term vision who will stay at Selhurst Park long enough to build the club as Steve Coppell did and not somebody who considers the club a stepping stone to a bigger job."

Sean Dyche now favourite to take over at Palace with almost all bookmakers (5/4 Paddy Power) after Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish was quoted as saying he wants to appoint a manager to build the club long-term as Steve Copppell did.
Re: Dyche ------->Palace
The bookies are clueless and just reacting to each other and one made up article that is being rehashed on numerous football websites. Read this article , it might stop you worrying too much.

Ask yourself this if you were Sean Dyche and had had the experience that he did at Watford with Foreign owners.. would you really really give it more then 5 seconds to think about?
