Fruitless? I wasn't expecting the Club or the F.A. to use
my evidence. However, it did explain to some sensible Burnley fans, in advance of today,
why he had so uncharacteristically lost control. As it turns out, I had found the exact reason
and it was very similar info that was put to the F.A. to try and reduce his ban.
Up until that point, I and some others simply thought he had simply lost it.

Anyhow, keep coming up with the Dad's Army clips of him being 'a stupid boy''.
I forget just how hard some people are especially with broken bones in their hands.
Can you not find a clip where they call Pike 'fruitless'?

We know he would have missed Spurs and Man U anyway, so let's wait until after the Huddersfield game before we get too excited about points lost.

But if he has broken his hand and has had to have surgery on it it doesn’t matter anyway. He would have to miss at least three games. A win win situation

I was thinking this, Dermot. I wouldn’t have thought Dyche would have played him for a week or two anyway? Mee missed a couple because of having stitches in his leg.

On reading my post again I've made my point poorly Rileybobs. I am referring to both incidents the penalty that was given and the elbow.

Moving on to tomorrow if Wood goes into the area and wraps his trailing leg around Vertongan and goes down I will be demanding and expecting a penalty.

If Vertongan unknowingly too us breaks his hand and Ashley gives it a gentle squeeze and Vertongan then elbows Ashley in the ribs I will be demanding and expecting he sees a red card. If as in Tarkowskis case the referee says he didn't see the incident I will be then expecting the FA to ban Vertongan for 3 games for violent conduct not that it will be much benefit too us after the event.

I am sure when Murray squeezed Tarks hand it hurt like ******* hell and would I have reacted in the same situation of course I would, but how Tarks reacted is a 3 game ban all day long broken hand or not.

You're very welcome. I also think the special brew I was doused in at the time helped with the soothing as well.
