Buses tomorrow

Post by Goddy » Sun Dec 31, 2017 9:00 pm

Driving up from the Midlands tomorrow for the game and staying over round Clitheroe.

Is the bus service from Clitheroe to Burnley (the M2) running tomorrow, could anyone tell me? Mixed message after an online search, before anyone asks.

Thanks

I think that the buses are a Sunday service but the Transdev (Lancashire Bus Co) website isn't the best.

The trains are operating a normal service so you can get a train each hour from Clitheroe to Blackburn and then Blackburn to Burnley.

The buses are on a Sunday service.

See the link for the times.

I was sure the buses have not run on New Years Day, the information at this link seems to confirm that;

Got the link from twitter

That was the site u was looking at having seen somewhere else that it was a Sunday service on New Year's Day.

Confused but I'll park up in Clitheroe and then hopefully get the bus or, if not, get back in the car and drive.

Whatever, 3 points and any inconvenience will be totally worth it.

Goddy - I think that I may have been given duff info and have just found on Transdev's website that they have no services on NYD.

I apologise if I was wrong.

They could help with being a little more visible with their times etc.

Had to pick my daughter up from the Bradford Interchange one New years day because no buses were running.
Got fined £30 for using the bus lane.

I called them last week to check as I needed a bus yesterday - They said on the phone it was Sun service on NYE and stopped at 7 and then no busses NYD.
