Thanks for that. Shame it didn't show Jim Cumbes save from Dobo, that gave us the corner for the third.
Andy Lochhead appearing for Villa.

What a shame the line up for the Everton game isn't 4-2-4 with ....

Pope
Lowton Mee Tarks Ward
Cork Defour
Thomas Fletcher Casper James

we'd slaughter 'em. Well, maybe not but I'd bet we'd score more than one !

Superb performance from the Clarets that day as was the performance later in the season at Villa Park when we won 3-0.

Someone needs to have a hard word with Mr Lochhead, setting up a goal against us.

Thanks for that, moaninclaret.

Wasn't Jim Coombes one of the last of the breed of sporting types who played professional footie and cricket?

What about the Wimbledon game that appeared on youtube after that one?

It had everything - going behind, getting a penalty and winning from a goalkeeper error. All the stuff we don't see of late.

Is it just me or the video? The posts and bar look much smaller in diameter.
Or was that the case then?

Funkydrummer - that goal could've been re-enacted by Taffy.
