"Come on yooo Carrots'
.... that'll teach me to try encouraging my two and a half year old grandson to get the basic songs going.....
Definitely work in progress but it's worth persevering to ward him off supporting his local team (West Ham....right colours, most assuredly, wrong team).
Wish me (and him) luck

Come on you Clarets,
Boiled beef and carrots...
It's got to start somewhere!

Maybe it's just me but I seem to think I hear it every time I go on......might be just nostalgic of me, mind....SammyBoy wrote:Haven't hard the 'Come On You Clarets' song for ages, when did it stop being sang?

It’s a quite slow chant, and doesn’t have clapping. Very hard to speed up, maybe that’s why we don’t hear it anymore?

Used to sing it every time we got a corner

Burnley is full of them along with a couple of other things.
