Both clubs described it as undisclosed although Walsall manager said it was a good deal for both clubs. Walsall have immediately signed Matt Jarvis on loan to replace him.

Were we linked with Jarvis once?

Think he was out of contract in the summer too, so will most probably be minimal fee and sell on clauses.

One of many ex non league players we signed who looks to have gone on to make a decent career for himself.

Was'nt Ginnelly signed by us from Shrewsbury who in turn signed him at 16 on his release from Aston Villa's Academy ?

I was surprised we let him leave on a free to be honest. Always seemed to do OK on loan. Would have made sense to give him another 2 years and send him back out on loan until someone offered us cash for him. Mind you, 100k for him is small fry vs PL money these days!!

Didn't come from non-league, signed from Shrewsbury where he had already played in the Football League. As for making a decent career for himself, he's had half a season at Walsall since leaving us.

From Walsall £25K for Ginnelly. PNE expect Robinson to leave this window or summer.

I stand corrected shrewsbury were in the league. I think him playing for various non league clubs on loan confused me. And forgot shrewsbury were back in the league at that point tbh

Yep stand corrected forgot shrews were a league club.

Looks to have made a decent career is fair comment though.
