I went on for a speculative look this morning and was most unhappy.

My lad has been pestering me for a ticket. I tried to get him one next to me in the Longside upper - but- as suspected - there aren't any available. Whilst the early bird period was on I specifically went down to the ticket office in the hope they might be able to sort something out for me. I asked if I couldn't get a ticket with me could I buy him an under 10s one for the JMU along with another adult ticket. I was told - no - there aren't any available. I have a look now - and - yes, there are loads of seats available. So I can buy him one but now it's going to cost more than £500. There's no way I can afford that. Not happy at all.

Sales are about the same as last year from what I’ve been told

I've just looked again at the early bird prices. It would have cost me £393 - still a lot of money for an extra ticket that I don't need - in the early bird period. It's now going to cost me £560 as it is listing my son's ticket as U12 at £70. Can't justify that much.
