Tremendous display considering the depleted squad. Great passing and moving in first half, Dwight seemed much more involved in the free-ranging role. Then the usual resilience and discipline when under more pressure after the break. Brownhill finding his feet now, Pieters very comfortable on the ball, lots to enthuse about. Oh and no yellow for Westy so he beats the cut-off which is a big bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed that, well done the lads.

First half we were brilliant. Vydra ran his you know what’s off up front on his own and his touch was great. McNeil was wanting the ball everywhere and was driving the game. We were knocking it about really well.

Second half was understandably tougher and Tarks and Mee were imperious - Tarks just edged it for me as the way he read the game was excellent - I lost count of the number of times he got his foot into nick the ball away from Zaha and other palace players.

Brownhill was excellent.

Well done Ben Mee - 300 appearances and is everything we are about

Pope 7 - did well but not too much to do. Has a great presence catching everything.
Bardsley 8 - did very well up against zaha.
Tarkowski 9 - class display of defending.
Mee 9 - great header and great second half.
Taylor 8 - great first half and very good defensively again.
Brownhill 9 - exceptional defensively making Bardsley’s job much easier.
Westwood 7 - great first half faded later on.
Cork 7 - unfortunate injury hope he’s ok.
Pieters 7 - did well enough could get forward a bit more.
McNeil 9 - class first half. Ran the game. Shows how good he could be. Some of his footwork was exceptional. When he got on that driving run before the poor shot he looked like a proper driving attacking force.
Vydra 7 - ran all game. Was very good linking up first half but I was surprised we didn’t get him in behind all game with palace’s slow old centre backs.

Have to say that this is definitely up there as one of Dyche's best games. A thoroughly committed, disciplined and professional display in which the team made full use of its strengths and capabilities. You can tell how much of a team spirit there is and that to a man, they all want to perform for the manager and give the maximum effort to the cause.

Magnificent performance, especially in the first half. Difficult judging on a buffering stream but i'd say it's best half we've played for many a day.

Pope 7-Golden glove award still very much on.
Bardsley 8- Fabulous display, even better considering it's his first since the lockdown. Top pro and grateful we've kept hold.
Tarkowski 9-Really solid. For me very underrated
Mee 9*-Outstanding and to cap it off with a goal.
Taylor 7-Massive Chaz fan but I personally don't feel he's firing on all cylinders yet.
Brownhill 9-Jeff who. This lad will be a future BFC captain.
Cork 8-Another typical Corky display, hope injury isn't too bad
Westwood 9-Thought he was outstanding
Pieters 8-Slotted in really well into his advanced position .
McNeil 9-Top quality. Personally think he's better in the No10 role. If Palace want £80m for Zaha, what price Dwight?
Vydra 7-Played well but just felt he didn't take up the best positions at times.

Long 7-Gave the ball away cheaply early on but after that he played really well once back 5 was organised.

How many times have we trooped down to Selhurst and wished afterwards we hadn't bothered? And then last night, with everyone watching from afar, we see a great all round performance performance like that one. Maybe we should all just stay at home in future

Pope 7 - Bit of a bystander but did the required work when called upon.
Bardsley 8 - Played his part in effectively nullifying Zaha.
Tarkowski 8 - A magnet to the ball (or just outstanding positioning). Plus he tried winding up Zaha in a hilariously childish way.
Mee 9 - Was even better after he got his goal. Made some great challenges and was better on the ball.
Taylor 8 - Also played his part in a solid defensive display.
Brownhill 9* - How many times has Zaha ran us ragged? Doubled up with Bardsley. Was ambitious with the ball at his feet, can get a bit excitable at times but he wants to impress.
Cork 7 - Worked hard as per, but I didn't see him do anything to warrant higher. Played his part none the less.
Westwood 8 - Your standard Westwood performance. Dogged, quality in possession.
Pieters 7 - Good feet, not a left winger, but again played his part.
McNeil 8 - The cream of the crop. Travels with the ball so well, made Milijovic look silly at times.
Vydra 7 - Was lonely at the top for Matej, but he was more willing to work and tried to lay of teammates when he could.
Long 7 - Bit sloppy but to be expected. Made a great block.
