Premier league winner trophy presentation

Post by No Ney Never » Wed Jul 22, 2020 10:38 pm

Seems a bit sureal. What are your thoughts?

The whole return since lockdown has been surreal, so hardly surprising that the title lift would be the same, i don't know how else they can conduct the ceremony in the circumstances.

Cringefest. Players wearing sunglasses and taking selfies, Klopp dressed like he’s from a 90’s boy band, senior players blanking fringe players, Premier League fella refusing to shake hands with players, everyone on the podium cheering and waving to... no-one. It was weird.

I don't understand why they didn't wait until there are fans in the stadia.

It’s been pretty good to be fair. Well done them. Think their families are there too to celebrate with the players. All the players stood arms around one another during YNWA, proper football club.

Doubtful considering the extremely low number of people present who have Covid-19.

I don’t see the issue with this. Looking back on these photos in years to come I’d want to be dressed in my kit like the rest of my team.

I won't be complaining if Ashley Barnes turns out in full kit to lift the premier league trophy next season! :D

did they best they could, I don't care who you support, you can't help but respect what Klopp has done there, full value.

It reminded me of turning up with a few mates to a really **** party and trying desperately to create a bit of atmosphere and kid yourself you’re having a good time.
