Just caught the story on the one show... certain people want the name changing......its offensive apparently any thoughts? I'm surprised nadiya the baking "queen" wants it changing tbh....as muslims dont drink anyway.

It's the Blackboy Inn and it's on Whiteladies Road. Neither have connections to the slave trade. The Inn closed a while ago and has permission to be turned into flats.

It is racist to try to change the history of a country
I get no new names with racist undertones but English pub names attract overseas visitors rather than upset them

Where's it going to end?? I'm 67 next week and quite honestly I've had enough what the hell did my father fight for survived the stupid commando raid on Dieppe the 2nd wave at Arnhem blown up in Holland 2 weeks after the surrender, land mines, demobbed 1950 because of injuries for what!! Lets not forget the sensitivities of south east Asians in all of this. Coldplay royalties are in for a downturn and bananas will have to be dyed. Ringo's contribution to Revolver will have to be axed or changed to Turquoise Submarine.
