Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
This year, I've really been loving an almost what feels like daily Americano from the nearby cafe, costa coffee or coffee machines. And prior to that I'd probably have about 1-2 coffees a year! I think it started in January when I had a an appointment at the hospital, so tried one in the canteen, but don't think I'd ever had one before. Anybody else a fan of these?

Espresso all the way!
Hard to get a decent one in the UK mind, because most places don't keep the beans well making the coffee bitter.

Black Insomnia is the current coffee of the moment and is very good if you like it strong
Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Never been a tea drinker. As a preference the stronger the coffee the better. Fresh brewed Espresso is my go to. If not that then 5 out of 5 strength fresh ground coffee (usually add extra scoops to the filter) or Douwe Egberts Pure Indulgence instant, which is 4/5 strength but we put two heaped spoonfuls per cup. Coffee is one of only a few things we won't have cheaper alternatives. All black coffee by the way with no sugar. Though my wife does use sweetener in hers.
Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Pepsi max for me, i spend a silly amount on the stuff and I buy it in bulk from Costco so technically getting it at a good price but i drink WAAAAY to much. Its so normal now that a "treat" is getting the cherry one. I must clear at least 3 litres a day.

Has to be morning Cappuccino. But as above very difficult to get here. In Italy it's a short drink served in a small cup but over here is used to impart a little flavour into a bucket of milk - even in most coffee shops. Resorted to making my own. Oh! without chocolate for me please.

Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Tea for me although I enjoy a strong fresh brewed Coffee on occasions. The combinations available in Coffee outlets are daft, I think a couple of teaspoons of Nescafe made with milk is preferable to ruining a decent fresh ground

Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Yorkshire tea. It's like gold dust in France and is accepted as currency amongst ex-pats.
There's a fantastic coffee shop down the road from me so I've got their Dominican blend on the go currently.
Otherwise I enjoy a simple green tea from China, something like longjing. I can put up with white tea but it's a bit too delicate and fancy to get it right.
The only rule with tea is that if it has any fruit or other flavourings added I don't want it.

Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Couple of coffees in the morning then tea for the rest of the day bar the odd beer or 2 later on.
Always enjoy a can of Coca Cola. Don’t like it out of a bottle, large bottle or any fast food place. It has to be in a can. Don’t have any other fizzy stuff. Pepsi is a no no.

M&S Diet cloudy lemonade
Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
coffee for me, usually 3 cups in a morning, middle one is a mocha and really look forward to that. Used to be coffee in a morning and tea afternoons but this last year I have probably only had a handful.
don't drink any soft drinks unless it's tonic but that has to have gin in it when I do which is not often.

Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
For some reason when I have the Americano normally late morning, I don't want a second one, or any more for the rest of the day. One is all I like. It's the same with a cup of tea. If I have a cup, that's me done for the day.

Warm and wet with 1 sweetener for me but on travels always have a drinking chocolate as coffees can vary so much. Except for Spain & Italy where the coffee is perfection.

Always tea, preferably Yorkshire.
I just don't like the smell of coffee, and coffee shops are horrible. However, I know lots of people like them.
My wife likes the coffee smell and hates hot tar. I'm the other way round!

Any tea, supermarket own brands are fine. I don't do soft drinks but Brewdog Punk AF is fine on a hot day.

I can only drink decaf which is frustrating, my favourite soft drink is pretty boring as well, Pure orange juice, I can drink it by the gallon, especially if I’m hung over

Bizarre, no sugar in a drink but you can drink OJ which is essentially fruity sugar.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:57 pmI can only drink decaf which is frustrating, my favourite soft drink is pretty boring as well, Pure orange juice, I can drink it by the gallon, especially if I’m hung over

I used to have two sugars, moved down to one and now the taste in a coffee or tea makes me feel sick, it’s really oddZizkovClaret wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 9:44 pmBizarre, no sugar in a drink but you can drink OJ which is essentially fruity sugar.

Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Can only drink two cups of coffee when I wake up. Any more makes me queasy. Rest of the day is cola. Usually have an OJ with breakfast. Not fussy about cola so get Asda own brand for the caffeine intake. As a preference it'd be Pepsi but the amount of cola I drink during the day, it'd be expensive to buy that in bulk.

I can’t have lucozade or normal coffee, used to drink loads but makes me feel horrific these days. Re: Favourite Tea / Coffee / Soft Drink?
Normal Lucozade or Lucozade Sport? I only drink the latter (or Powerade) if I have a hangover, which isn't that often these days. Wouldn't drink it normally but I found in my younger days. That a sports drink and a small can of energy drink (Red Bull usually) worked wonders for a hangover. Wouldn't drink them normally as they do have a strange effect on me.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 7:05 amI can’t have lucozade or normal coffee, used to drink loads but makes me feel horrific these days.
