Dyche says we are linked with Larry LLoyd.
What are his stats? Any vids?

I just dont think he is a player I want playing at CB for my team in the premier league on a regular basis.
Thankfully the manager agrees with me.

Upfront.
Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
What do people expect him to say?
“West Ham are way off our valuation, but because they are slightly interested at the moment I won’t play him. We might as well get used to being a bit rubbisher with out so we’ll get used to it”

I may be wrong here, but my reading of the SD's words are that Tarks should only leave if the fee is huge (£50M), if he does leave for less than this, then it's the boards decision.

"I don't see why a player would leave here at this moment in time. Not planning on anything else than him being here."
That shouts out as he's not going anywhere, regardless.
Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
Tbf that isn't what dyche actually said though, that quote has been edited down. For me he's going nowhere and it looks like we're struggling for additions.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 2:46 pmAre you going off...

I hope that’s right, it’s such an ambiguous statement!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:22 amNo, I think that's nothing more than Dyche being very confident he's keeping Tarkowski at Burnley.
On the subject of West Ham. Having seen them the other day against Newcastle, you could put Bobby Moore at his best into that team and it wouldn't make any difference based on that performance.
You’re right, Moore, Maldini, Rio all would’ve struggled I that chaos!
Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
yes and nowhere in that press conference do the 2 sentences on the OP come one after another. Just to point outChester Perry wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 2:58 pmthe quote comes from the opening sequence of the Press Conference today for Thursday Cup game - you can watch it here

Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
Well in fairness. If McNeil isn't the subject of bids from the likes of Leicester there's something wrong. They don't seem to be too keen on over-spending though. They're not prepared so far to go for Tarks. Preferring the St Etienne centre half, who's valued around half of Tarkowski and they're baulking at his valuation. So unless they're going to throw in a couple of suitable players with their £30-40 million + bid. Can't see it happening.Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 3:20 pmI reported what I was told, so yes, I am going to stick my my guns and say he will go, or be subject to a bid(s) from Leicester

Yep, not many will happily being 4th choice or playing 50 games in 10 years...
Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
From the WH supporters boards I have read today they are interpreting SD' words into, Tark's will not be coming to WH and Moyes needs to look elsewhere and sort the defense out soon before to long. Which is the same way I look at things right now but obviously if they were to come in with a huge bid then he would go but I think WH doing that is a very low chance. Also, I am sure SD is looking at alternatives regardless of if he goes or not but I believe he is comfortable with KL filling in for however long but it does increase the risk profile obviously were one or the other to be injured in the first few games

DYCHE CONFIDENT OF TARKOWSKI STAY
Sean Dyche remains confident defender James Tarkowski will still be at Burnley come the end of the transfer window as it would take a "considerable" bid to even think about allowing him to leave.
West Ham have had three offers - the last believed to be about £30million - rejected for the England international, with the Clarets in no mood to let the 27-year-old leave an already thin squad.
"There's nothing relevant at the moment, we're hoping it's not obviously," said Dyche. "We want to keep our players in-house that's for sure. With James Tarkowski I am not planning on anything else other than him being here.
"He is a very good player and has delivered for us on a consistent basis over a long period of time.
"As I've mentioned before I don't see why any player would leave here at this moment in time and the numbers are considerable for that to be even considered."

Leicester are strapped for cash, they won't pay the 23m for their main defensive target from st ettiene. No chance they are paying 30m+ for Dwight.

Re: Dyche on Tarkowski
King Power have taken a big hit financially this year, their core business is Duty Free in Thailand - that in part explains the Visit Thailand shirt sponsorship - They have finished their new training ground/Academy facility this year - cost and eye-watering £100m or so, the last few seasons have seen them run at a negative operational cash flow, forcing them to sell players, their wage bill is huge - much more than our total revenues and their amortisation is also quite high.JohnDearyMe wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 9:03 amInteresting Andy, is that due to the hits all clubs have experienced due to Covid?
