Match Day - No Madge
Match Day - No Madge
Sadly, after the debacle on the ladt match day of last season, Madge is locked in her shoebox.
Perhaps HolyCustard can coax her out. I cannot.
No doubt Mr CT will provide a match thread.
Here's to 3 points for the Mighty Clarets.

I hope this is not because of personal abuse you received from a troll.
Madge-less match days are unthinkable.

Re: Match Day - No Madge
There was no debacle after the last match of last season. Two threads were merged, IanMcL didn’t like it and behaved like a spoilt child. Other posters pointed it out to him but he continued starting multiple threads reporting that his thread had been deleted when he’d been told numerous times by several posters that it had been merged with another thread.
So until today he’s not posted since although he was logged in throughout the Sheffield United game last Thursday without posting.
So no debacle at all, just a poster refusing to accept what he was being told.

FAO Ian
Come on Ian, it's bad enough reading about the disconnection between Dyche and Garlick but a lot of us older posters rely on your match day thread. And just as important Madge is our lucky mascot.
I want you back. WE want you BOTH back!

Re: FAO Ian
Very kind Elizabeth.
Sadly, Mr CT can be rude and offensive, on occasion and fails to apologise.
He has recommenced his insults again today.
Madge not impressed by being submerged in a thread entitled 'team news'.
MOD: Childish image removed
There is a match thread. Things move on.
All the best to everyone who has had fun and camaraderie on the match threads.
Long may it continue.

Re: FAO Ian
Sometimes Ian we can only move on by reluctantly putting things down to misunderstandings.
I honestly think despite what you think of Tony, he would have preferred you did the match day thread.
It's part of our great tradition and for me just makes my PL experience ( you know, us against the big boys) that bit more special. It's too late now for today but not for the next game and the rest of the season.
If we get relegated I will put the blame on you (Big smiley I can't do)

Re: FAO Ian
Not insults, just pointing things out but time and time again you wouldn't listen to what other posters were telling you. I merged two threads in good faith, nothing else, and that subjected me to insult after insult from you. Sorry, I was not being rude, and admitted I might have merged them in error, and I was very definitely not being offensive. As other posters pointed out, the offensive one was yourself.IanMcL wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 6:13 pmVery kind Elizabeth.

Sorry Ian, but for a grown man you are being very childish and pathetic.
"Things move on," just about sums you up right now. I thought you were a decent bloke but you behaviour on this board suggests otherwise. I'm having a difficult time right now and I don't see what I should have to put up with this.
