Very happy to read this news. I think he'll fit in at Burnley as well as anyone could do.

Has he played any mins for Brighton yet?

Great signing. They don't all have to be marquee ones. Slots in the squad instantly, small outlay, experienced.

About bleeding time, hope he's the first of 3/4 through the door in the next few weeks.

Welcome to TM Dale.

Caps off a successful week, now for 3 points against the saints to really round a great few days off. :)

Good addition.

Does this eventually mean Brownhill back out on the right?

Excellent signing, played around the lower leagues initially and has a well-grounded, experienced career. Mainstay at Brighton recently and we now hope he transfers his skills and ability back to his native north west.
Up the Dale as they say at Spotland!

The number 16 is a big shirt to fill CT ...

So lets hope he's not as injury prone as the last holder of that squad number πŸ™‚

Glad for all the Burnley supporting Dales who finally have a namesake to cheer on.

Like I said, good addition. Interested to see when cork is back fit which 2 players will start in the middle. Some very healthy choices now.

Noticed that myself and was about to post when I saw Tony's post.

Big shirt to fill indeed. If he's half as good as Defour, he'll do OK.

Nothing to get excited about. Will be fourth choice behind Westwood , Brownhill and Cork. Does this mean Benson will be back out on loan?

I feel this could be a very astute signing.
I like the fact he has played in the lower divisions - for me, this shows grit and determination.

Depending on how far off cork is I think we need to be looking at getting Benson in a good a championship team on loan.
