Is Dale Stephens cup tied, or injured?

Re: Tonight's Lineup
The strongest cup line up I've seen in a while! Just wish we had the players available to give McNeil a rest. Sometimes you can play through a slump, but other times you need a game or two out

Re: Tonight's Lineup
Just read CT's preview
We will also be without latest signing Dale Stephens. He made his debut against Southampton but will have to sit this one out having played in the competition for Brighton against Portsmouth prior to his move to Burnley.

Re: Tonight's Lineup
he seems to be holding his left arm...I hope it's not injured!
Great news this...providing he doesn't sulk (not likely under SD) we now have a great chance of doing well this season.
I'm delighted!

Re: Tonight's Lineup
The only player being completely rested is Pope.
The rest are still injured or in one case, cup tied.
Therefore I think it's a line up out of necessity rather than choice.

Re: Tonight's Lineup
I think that there an awful lot of people on these boards that are starting to realise that they owe Mike Garlick and Tarky a huge apology.
Clearly the board didn't cave in and sell Tarky on the cheap and clearly Tarky WAS injured and is now back in the starting line up. That wouldn't happen if he was going anywhere before Monday.
Will it stop them posting bile about people in the future? Probably not.

Re: Tonight's Lineup
We'll still win.
Re: Tonight's Lineup
Strong line up but I wish Sean would give youth a chance on the wing than play Pieter's out of position, nowt to lose and he could unearth a star in the making ala Dwight
Re: Tonight's Lineup
We started with Thomas, Dunne and Benson last week. They could have all played this week too but we are going with a stronger line up....fidelcastro wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:14 pmOther than Pope, they are all the remaining players available.
....I know Barnes and Tarks were not available last week but it’s good to start getting a couple of players back and give SD a little more choice. We’ve even got a striker we can bring on !

Good point that.
We'll need a replacement for Dwight, since he's leaving in a few days.

Thought we had a genuine chance tonight.....until I saw City's line-up.
8 out of 10 outfield players genuine 1st teamers.

Or perhaps he’s realised that Leicester don’t want him and West Ham can’t afford anything like the price so he is better off getting back to work.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:16 pmI think that there an awful lot of people on these boards that are starting to realise that they owe Mike Garlick and Tarky a huge apology.

Re: Tonight's Lineup
A bit light up front, I think k Ash will need a game or two to get upto speed
Great to see Tarks start, please God no injuries
Most pleased to see Brownhill back in the middle, wasted on the wing, should start there every game.
Always tough against Citeh, but at least we aren't waving the white flag.
Come on you Clarets

Where did I say we were selling him?
Re: Tonight's Lineup
More along the lines. Neither Leicester or West Ham were prepared to offer what we wanted. Leicester are good at finding gems and I think Fofana will be another. That Turk was a gem of a find last season. They were never going to go over a certain price and West Ham was a joke.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 6:23 pmOr perhaps he’s realised that Leicester don’t want him and West Ham can’t afford anything like the price so he is better off getting back to work.
