I was going to recommend "my Octopus teacher"........it's a thrilling documentary about a man and an Octopus and well worth the watch.
But not a thriller.

Money Heist absolutely awful IMHO

Loads of good stuff though.
If you haven`t seen Ozark on Netflix i`d start with that - 3 series and should keep you busy for the next month !

Took us about 2 months, could only get an episode & a half a night once the kids were in bed, then needed to be in bed for 10 to catch up on sleep

That's normal people usually have stuff to do & life's to live besides watching TV 24/7, it can take me quite awhile to complete series due to other distractions.

The devil all the time on Netflix. Great plot set in 1950's hillbilly America. I really enjoyed it.

That’s about 10 hours a day - good effort !

Season 4 has been commissioned btw.

For the OP other recommendations :
Better call Saul
Bloodline
Sinners
Criminal (just watching this now)
Narcos (Mexico)

Films - just watched The Peanut Butter Falcon. Surprisingly very good as I’ve never heard of it till last week. Would highly recommend it.

That was very good. It’s hard to get horrors right but that had me on the edge of my seat.

Disappointed with Ozark, I must say. It’s well shot and is pleasing on the eye but I thought it was ridiculously far-fetched. I like Jason Bateman but didn’t find him believable in that role, and Ruth’s character is just way OTT, despite being well acted.

First series of Trapped on Prime is good, if you haven't had enough bleak isolation so far.

On Amazon prime if you are into Sci fi try the Expance there are 4 seasons and a 5th is in the pipeline , the first few episodes are hard going but I am now addicted it's about a future earth with a colony on Mars and a group of outcasts who do all the dirty work in space ie mining and they are all vieing for supremacy the special effects are amazing

Yes, Hill House goes way beyond "horror" imo, as it develops those initially "kid" characters as grown ups and examines the relationships between them etc and how the initial event has impacted their entire lives. It's brilliantly scripted and acted and is absolutely engrossing.
My son swears by Ozark, which is probably the main reason I've never even contemplated it!! :)
I thought Homeland was good for a series or three, but ran out of steam for me and I stopped watching.

The fall. Superb, really most excellent.
Star Trek discovery is good, as was lost in space.
Unforgotten is great work from Nicola walker and Sanjeev bhaskar.
Breaking bad was immense.
Queen of the south also quite good.

Not sure it’s available on either Netflix or amazon, but if there’s a way you could watch Deadwood, I’m sure you’d be impressed. All dialogue, no action to speak of, but really well written and acted. Ian McShane is truly world class in it.

Just remembered, The last dance, which is the story of the Chicago bulls and Michael Jordan. Superb, and I have ZERO interest in basketball.

The Crimson Permanent Assurance, along with many other delights from the same film company have appeared on Netflix.

To think it’s nearly 40 years since it graced the theatres... and yet it still applies today :D

I’ve just started watching ‘The Boys’ on Amazon Prime.
