Nasty tackle but still managed to roll over theatrically ,exactly what you don’t do when you’re hurt . While ML may have picked up a knock from the challenge ,imo seemed to make a real meal of it . Shame there was no VAR - it would have been a straight red for the tackle plus a yellow for the comment which is unsporting behaviour plus another yellow for being a complete two hat

Why do they apologise anyway. When you have fans in the ground you have large chunks singing and using obscenities and t hey don't see the need to apologise for that.

When the FA brought in rulings to County FAs many years ago that players should be sent off for using bad language I was running a league up here in the north east and wrote to the FA for clarification as to why this was not happening in the PL and EFL. There response was that it was used in conjunction with their job and was considered to be 'industrial language' and so was acceptable as far as they were concerned. That attitude still persists.
