Re: Challenge cup semi finals
If they are anywhere near as good as the three NRL finals played so far this weekend they will be well worth watching.

Re: Challenge cup semi finals
George Williams is playing well and scored a smashing try today. Bateman was well wound up for that too but Wighton for the Raiders was something else!
Last year's finalists, Raiders v Roosters, next week should be interesting!

A good game in difficult conditions, Leeds managed the game well and Wigan tries came far too late.

Fingers crossed for the Red Devils! Hope they can repeat their league destruction of The Wolves on Tuesday evening in the cup this afternoon!

It was our kids that played the other day. We've gifted the points in the first half which is frustrating.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 4:30 pmFingers crossed for the Red Devils! Hope they can repeat their league destruction of The Wolves on Tuesday evening in the cup this afternoon!

Absolutely over the proverbial after that and yet so, so disappointed for my son and my ex wife who after so many heartaches following the Devils absolutely everywhere for years on end, will be unable to attend the behind closed doors final!

Well done Salford, what is is, first final in 59 years and a real shame for their loyal fans not to be able to go to watch live.

Re: Challenge cup semi finals
My son tells me (so maybe bobbins) that there has been suggestions that season ticket holders of both teams will be allowed to attend the final because social distancing in Wembley would be fairly easy with those numbers. Not sure if that's true or of if it will happen like.
My ex wife was 11 when Salford made the 1969 final (and lost) and her dad ummed and ahhhd, but eventually said she couldn't go as she was a little bit too young, but that she could go next time.......

Superb win for Salford! Their coach in his interview hoping some fans will be allowed to attend the final in 2 weeks.
