Re: Pathetic effort by the board
from Daily Mirror:
Every Premier League team's summer business rated as transfer window slams shut:
to save you searching...no one club than us is rated as low as F
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football ... y-22796019
Burnley
Best signing: Dale Stephens
Wild card: Will Norris
Most notable departure: Jeff Hendrick
Burnley’s window has given Sean Dyche a difficult task of keeping Burnley in the division this season.
Despite finishing comfortably in mid-table last term the Clarets look weaker for the 2020/21 campaign having lost Jeff Hendrick, as well as fringe men Aaron Lennon and Joe Hart.
In their place comes Dale Stephens who was surplus to requirements at Brighton, a team who Burnley could be in direct competition with to beat the drop.
Their only other notable signing was back-up goalkeeper Will Norris from Wolves, but retaining James Tarkowski could be the thing that keeps them up.
Verdict: F

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but Football Insider are reporting interest from elsewhere in Craig Dawson. One English EFL player who we have been reported to have been interested in.

Surely Dawson can't be signing for West Ham... Nixon (the man in the know) told us it was a done deal with us.

Please come back at the end of this season and we will see if you still have the "so what" attitudeGazclaret83 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 10:51 pmSo what. Look how far we’ve come as a club in the the last 6 or so years. We are in the premier league.
