Got one for chrimbo - just made cauliflower and onion bhajis - awesome and worth the effort.
My tip - make the batter mixture first before putting the onion and cauliflower in to coat it

slow cookers are brilliant, also way cheaper to run than an oven. They really are chuck everything in and ignore for the next 5 hours !! There are loads of slow cooker recipes on places like youtube, well worth itClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 1:52 pmI’m still building up my new kitchen appliances and could do with a slow cooker. Not really looked into Ninja in any detail but in layman’s terms what would it give me above a slow cooker plus the induction hob, oven & microwave I’ve already got?

Not sure why you’ve quoted that post given my subsequent contribution to this thread. Thinking about a Ninja Foodi vs an Instant Pot.
Any update Tony (and the OP) and what you've made with it?

I'm just experimenting with "Parsley box" ready meals and a microwave. Works well for beef stew, anyway.

Re: Ninja foodi multi cooker
I've not overused mine yet but used it regularly to steam veg and done a few casseroles with the slow cooker. But it is not going to be a gadget that gets shoved to one side. I was pushed on the day someone posted on here that it was on offer on Prime Day through Amazon.

Sausages are great in the Ninja. Thick sausages are perfect at 180 degrees and approx 14-15 minutes on the Air Fry setting. Make sure you give them a shake halfwayClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 11:45 amI've never done my sausages and black pudding in the Ninja yet - I'll try that.

Re: Ninja foodi multi cooker
Fair play, I wouldn’t have got one without this thread and it hasn’t failed yet. Herb crusted pork chops tonight, cooked to perfection. Managed to ditch a too small slow cooker, deep fat fryer, and a rarely used bread maker into the bargain so it was a net gain on cupboard space too. A few more decent meals and I’ll have almost forgotten the price..

Re: Ninja foodi multi cooker
I've just recently purchased a soup maker and it's superb. My hand held blender packed in a while ago so I had been cooking the soup in a pan then pouring it in to the big blender.
Lots of washing up and faffing about.
No standing over the pan.
Just put the ingredients in and switch on. Like a kettle with a blender in.
The only downside I have found is it seems to burn tomato skin at the bottom, that needs cleaning. But all other veg etc no problem.

Re: Ninja foodi multi cooker
The oven in our house is almost redundant apart from cooking chickens for the dogs, the Ninja has repaid its cost many times over and certainly isnt one of those use a couple of times gadgets and then put away at the back of the cupboard to never be seen again expensive fads......and its healthier...win win.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 9:15 pmI’ve not tried a steak - my Ninja is getting used more and more.

I was sceptical, but a few months in, it is a rare day that it isn't used in some capacity and literally always delivers top quality results. My only issue: I regularly wish I had 2!

How did you ninja cook your salmon - did you wrap it in foil (as I do when cooking in the oven)?

I'll try it next time I have salmon. When I do it in the oven I always parcel it in foil to try and prevent it from drying out. Did you air fry it?
