Superb match. I thought they’d blew it with the yellow card, 10mins to go, and the intense pressure that followed. Magnificent fight from them all to get home.
Re: Rugby Union European Champions Cup final
I’ve watched both as well and two cracking games and great sportsmanship unlike football nowadays!!

Just catching up on the days results after being at work, congrats to Exeter on a historic victory, they've put plenty of hard work into building up the club over the past 10 years, and this triumph is richly deserved.

That was terrific. Guys who are skilled and hard treated us to a great match. These guys make many of current footballers look like immature little boys.
Exeter play with a method that's often criticized but they play it well and win. Congratulations to them.

Watched both games, they were terrific. Was even able to be 'pleased' for Leeds, with the Burrows factor pushing them over the top.

Re: Rugby Union European Champions Cup final
I have to agree with the majority here- both games were really well-fought and entertaining. Both far better than your average footy game nowadays with all the theatrical diving and injury-feigning.
Living in the south I see a lot more Union than League but been to most of the last 10 or so Wembley finals and watched Broncos a couple of times last year. For RU, Ive been a London Irish ST holder most of the time they've played in Reading & hopefully can see them soon at the new Brentford Stadium.
Nice to see Salford in the Challenge Cup final, their only previous win was 1938 but they were very close this time round, tough luck to them, I'd've liked them to win.
Great to see Exeter as European RU Champions too; they only appeared in the top flight around 10 years ago and have step by step improved to this peak via real hard graft and no wage-limit breaching.
Also great to catch up with the last 2 weekends' Bledisloe Cup highlights from NZ this morning on youtube. A really exciting and tight first game and both games played in front of full(ish) live crowd.
