Today's Footy
West Ham 1 City 0
Re: Today's Footy
You know football is a bit weird at the moment when Moyes starts to look like a good manager despite no West Ham supporters wanting him for the job second time around .
Re: Today's Footy
Great goal from West Ham. Given them a lot of confidence. Really good game to watch so far.

Pep Out!
Re: Today's Footy
West Ham look decent this year, should be looking at top half. That's what worries me, so many teams who you'd class as our rivals have improved massively.
Re: Today's Footy
Surping what investment can do.
Not always the players themselves that do the business, but lifts the squad, creates competition for the shirt, strength in depth and allows for different approaches/ tactics depending on opposition.
Quite a few of the strugglers have kicked on this season, hopefully we still manage to be better than at least 3 others, but the signs are this could be Mr Dyche most difficult season in charge.

Re: Today's Footy
Foden replaces Aguero at ht and has made it 1-1
Re: Today's Footy
We play Man City they bury many of their chances.
They play West Ham yet fail to score from about 50 one on ones with the keeper!

Sky sports soccer Saturday:
Burnley play Spurs on Monday night.
Let’s talk about Spurs first...15 minutes after drooling over Kanesonbaletealady etc...24 seconds saying Burnley will be different now Tarks back and Mee’s nearly there!
Insightful!
At least they managed to mention us!

Re: Today's Footy
Cov down to 10 men and Rovers score the penalty.
So basically, Rovers win this one.

Re: Today's Footy
We are sitting comfortably in 18th right now. So no problems at Turf Moor. Easy 3 points coming up on Monday. Crisis what crisis ? Palace 2 up at Fulham. Rovers cruising at Coventry
Re: Today's Footy
Can't see Fulham or West Brom being above us. Just need one more...

Re: Today's Footy
Teams seem to enjoy getting their players sent off this season against Rovers.
Wycombe had a man sent off after 57 minutes and Rovers won 5-0.
Cardiff went down to 10 men after 69 minutes against them and it still ended 0-0.
And another one sent off against them today after 14 minutes! And Rovers win 5-0.
7 games played. A man sent off for their opposition in 3 of those. Out of the remaining 4, they lost 3 of them.

Re: Today's Footy
Won 13-0 away, can't be bad for the goal difference, just what we need.
Re: Today's Footy
Can anyone tell me why United signed Donny van de Beek if they don't even rate him ahead of Dan James?
Re: Today's Footy
Really poor game at OT so far. Almost like a chess match, both teams look more concerned with not losing than winning.

Do not underestimate how much West Ham fans undermine their teams confidence... that is a major difference.

I don't know how James gets a game at United. After a decent start there he's been dreadful.Taffy on the wing wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 6:38 pmJames looks a little lightweight to me.
How VAR didn't call a penalty on McGuire in the first half is beyond me.

Re: Today's Footy
They don't want Moyes in charge and they hate the three at the top.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 6:35 pmDo not underestimate how much West Ham fans undermine their teams confidence... that is a major difference.

Re: Today's Footy
All that money and they serve this rubbish up, it's a good job this isn't a PPV game, it's no better than our 0-0 on Monday, and these 2 want to be part of a European Super League.
Re: Today's Footy
The Man Utd game is as dull as ours at WBA. Put up with it for a bit then turned off. I’m sure games are slower with no fans in the stadiums.

Re: Today's Footy
The way this season is going, this is the exactly the sort of game that SU will pick up their first win.

You could well be right, this season has been madder than a mad mad hatter's tea party, so nothing should surprise us anymore.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 8:23 pmThe way this season is going, this is the exactly the sort of game that SU will pick up their first win.
It could be a great weekend for Everton, City & United dropping points, Villa losing, and now Liverpool behind.

2-1 Liverpool, then it's disallowed for offside, as you were.

The current top four looks like something from the 70's.
Apart from we're not there.
Goal ruled out, offside.
