Government Grants

Post by basil6345789 » Sat Oct 24, 2020 6:43 pm

I was astonished to see on BBC News that, on behalf of the taxpayer, we have donated, out of covid support funds, a million or so to 2 worthy causes, namely; The Lady Boys Of Bangkok and The Chinese Circus.
Unbelievable!

The fund gave money to Gandey Productions, a UK company paying UK tax, who produce those shows.

I'm more annoyed that companies like PeckhamPlex, a South London institution, offering £5 cinema tickets all day everyday got nothing and face closure.

While Secret Cinema who produce two "shows" a year, shaft performers & crew, charge £60 a ticket while making a £2million loss last year but got a nearly a million in grants.

There is a lot of uproar in the “clubbing” community because a few events which haven’t ran for a good while have applied for and got massive grants ..... when businesses are having to close after refunding tickets for events they had going ahead.

Its hard to tell as he's gone by a few different pseudonyms to help him get up to no good
