Re: Robbie Brady
Great to see him coming back to his best , was always confident he could get back if he stayed clear of injuries, another assist on the chart

Should be on corners ahead of McNeil when both are in the side.
Has shown that bit of quality that we knew he had before his and injury ! Fingers crossed he stays fit now.

He is fitting in really well, and growing in confidence every game. Impressed in his last few games with his defensive duties and has made some very important challenges. With a bit more confidence it should mean he becomes our free kick taker when close to goal, thats something we are desperate for as Barnes earns lots of free kicks

I’ll take a large slice of humble pie when it comes to Brady. I thought when he initially came back he wasn’t the same player, he seemed to be shying away from challenges and the creative spark wasn’t there.
The corner for the goal last night just showed he still has that touch of magic and can deliver quality balls into the box. He’s out of contract at the end of the season so would like to see him get another couple of years. Soon to turn 29 so got a good couple of years at least.

Unbelievable cross from wood’s header which should have been a goal.

Yes shame he got injured when he did. One of our best technical footballers but still looks a bit fragile in a way. Just hope he stays fit as he’s been better than McNeil this year and if they are both fit and firing we will only score more and play better football.

Re: Should Robbie Brady get a run of starts?
If Robbie keeps up this form he'll be a vital member of the squad during the rest of the season, whether I'd give him another contract is still up for debate, ideally I'd hope we secured a young pacy right winger who can take people on to add to our attacking options, but there's no doubting Robbie's quality when he's on his game, the question mark is always going to be his fitness.
Even in his 25 minute cameo at Leicester he looked bright, and he's been our of our better players this season, even during that tricky opening period, when he was on the park he looked one of our few creative options, and the goal against Everton has given his confidence a huge boost, now he's adding assists as well it only bodes well for the remainder of the season, if he stays injury free, and that's the nagging doubt, Sean will have to manage him carefully, because the last thing we want is Brady breaking down again, and being out for a lengthy spell.

Still think there is a long way to go for Robbie to get back to his best from a couple of years ago
He may be protecting his injury but he doesn't appear to have so much pace and always heads inside rather than go down the line
Also, without a strong tackle in him, got caught in possession quite a few times last night
He is certainly good enough to be the starting rh midfield when Dwight comes back
